Pride and Prejudice: Netflix Releases Premiere Date and First Photos from Jane Austen Novel Adaptation

Pride and Prejudice has its premiere date. Netflix announced a December arrival date for the period drama and released several first-look photos.

Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden, and Olivia Colman star in the adaptation of the Jane Austen novel created by Dolly Alderton for the streaming service.

Netflix shared the following about the series:

“When wealthy bachelors arrive in their neighbourhood, the five Bennet sisters must navigate love, family, and society’s expectations to secure their futures. Jane falls for the charming Mr Bingley, while Elizabeth clashes with his proud friend Mr Darcy – but unexpected encounters and family scandals force Elizabeth to reconsider her feelings and discover the true nature of love. Pride and Prejudice, one of the most iconic novels of all time, comes to Netflix as an all-new 6-part limited series. The series will be a faithful, classic adaptation of the novel, written by Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love) and directed by Euros Lyn (Heartstopper).”
