Sara and Fernando are back. Deadline reports Sarah Wayne Callies and Amaury Nolasco will reprise their roles for FOX’s upcoming Prison Break revival series.
Prison Break ran for four seasons on FOX before ending in 2009.
The original series followed Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), an engineer who constructs an elaborate plan to help his brother (Dominic Purcell) escape from prison. Callies played Sara Tancredi, a doctor and Michael’s love interest. Nolasco played Fernando Sucre, Michael’s friend and cell mate.
The reboot series will pick up after the original ended. Callies and Nolasco join newly cast Mark Feuerstein and original stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell.
No word yet on when the limited Prison Break revival will premiere.
