It seems Brenda Song is moving on. Deadline reports the Pure Genius star has joined CBS’ new comedy pilot Real Life.
Song plays Angie Cheung on the medical drama, which ended its first season in January. CBS has not yet announced whether Pure Genius will be renewed for a second season or not. The cast also includes Dermot Mulroney, Augustus Prew, Odette Annable, Reshma Shetty, Aaron Jennings, and Ward Horton.
Created by Hilary Winston, Real Life “chronicles the relationship of two 20-somethings, Nora (Rebecca Rittenhouse) and Drew, who go from being co-workers on opposite coasts to working in the same office.” Song will play Nora’s best friend and roommate, Lauren.
