CBS has struck a deal. Deadline reports the network has picked up a new series called Ransom.
Created by David Vainola and Frank Spotnitz, the drama stars Luke Roberts as Eric Beaumont, an expert crisis and hostage negotiator who “uses his insight into human behavior to resolve the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases.”
The 13-episode first season is scheduled to air during the 2016-2017 season.
