It’s time to say goodbye. Recently, the creators and actors of Regular Show bid farewell to the Cartoon Network TV series, Variety reports.
In September, we reported season eight would be the last season for the animated show, which follows the lives of two friends — Mordecai the blue jay and Rigby the raccoon. The voice cast includes Mark Hamill (Skips), Roger Craig Smith (Thomas), William Salyers (Rigby), Janie Haddad (Margaret), and Sam Marin (Benson, Pops, and Muscle Man).
At a screening of the show’s final episodes, creator JG Quintel expressed sadness about Regular Show ending:
It was neat to get to hear people react to the show one last time, because that’s not gonna happen anymore.”
William Salyers, who voices Rigby, said he loved the six years he spent working on the series:
It was six amazing years of my life, it was never not fun to go to work, and you can’t say that about a lot of jobs.”
The final episodes of Regular Show are scheduled to air on Cartoon Network on January 16th.
