TV show description:
In this mockumentary parody of the ever-popular Cops TV show, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Department in Reno, Nevada, fights crime. Unfortunately, more often than not, it fights back.

Ambiguous Lieutenant and former maitre d’ Jim Dangle (Tom Lennon) leads the team of colorful and interesting characters. There’s anxiety-ridden hypochondriac Deputy Trudy Wiegel (Keri Kenney-Silver), smooth Casanova Deputy S. Jones (Cedric Yarbrough), racist and sexist Mexican-American Deputy James Oswaldo Garcia (Carlos Alaraqui), buxom blonde Deputy Clementine “Clemmie” Johnson (Wendy McLendon-Covey), curvy and proud Deputy Raineesha Williams (Niecy Nash), redneck Deputy Travis Junior (Robert Ben Garant) and tough Deputy Cherisha Kimball (Mary Birdsong).

Each episode follows the department staff while on duty as they are called to investigate crime scenes or to break up disturbances. Regular offenders include a gay rollerskating prostitute named Terry Bernadino (Nick Swardson); frequent disturber of the peace, Big Mike (Toby Huss); and un-neighborly Andrew (Jim Rash).

The series has featured a number of guest stars including comedians Patton Oswalt, George Lopez, Michael Ian Black, Ron White, Carrot Top; singer Kenny Rogers; actresses Christina Applegate and Aisha Tyler; and actors Paul Rudd, Ryan Stiles, and Seth Green.
