Riverdale has found its new Reggie! The series began to look for a new actor to take on the role last month, and a replacement has now been found. Ross Butler originally played the role on the series, but his schedule was too busy to allow him to appear on the series much. He also appears on 13 Reasons Why, which has also been renewed for a second season.
TV Line reported that Charles Melton will recur on season two of the The CW series. TV Line described Reggie as follows:
“Reggie — a loudmouth bully who’s constantly in competition with Archie — is a core character in the original comics.”
