RuPaul’s Drag Race is expanded its world on VH1. The network has ordered a new event series for 2020 titled RuPaul’s Celebrity Drag Race. The series will consist of four episodes, and three celebrities will be made over each episode.
The celebrities taking part have not yet been revealed, but many drag queens from previous seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race are returning to help the celebrities become their ‘drag’ selves. Fans will see Alyssa Edwards, Asia O’Hara, Bob the Drag Queen, Kim Chi, Monét X Change, Monique Heart, Nina West, Trinity the Tuck, Trixie Mattel and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo.
RuPaul Charles said the following about VH1 series, per Deadline:
“Doing drag does not change who you are, it reveals who you are. I can’t wait for the world to see what happens when our celebrity contestants get all up in drag.”
VH1 has not yet announced a premiere date for the series.
