Scream Queens, 24: FOX Boss Gives an Update on Revival Possibilities

Scream Queens TV show on FOX: (canceled or renewed?)

Are you a big fan of 24? What about Scream Queens? Recently, FOX chief Charlie Collier addressed the possibility of reviving the two TV shows, Deadline reports.

A horror comedy from Ryan Murphy, Scream Queens ran for two seasons before being cancelled in 2016. The cast included Emma Roberts, Skyler Samuels, Lea Michele, Glen Powell, Diego Boneta, Abigail Breslin, and Keke Palmer. Meanwhile, the original 24 series starred Kiefer Sutherland as counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer. The show ran for eight seasons and has spawned several spin-offs.

Last year, we reported that FOX was developing a 24 prequel series and Kiefer Sutherland was interested in the project. At this year’s winter TCA press conference, FOX boss Charlie Collier revealed the network doesn’t have any new series to announce yet but FOX is open to continuing the franchise:

The power of these franchises is not to be toyed with, and 24 was an iconic moment in television, and when and if we bring it back, it will be because the creators and writers feel like they have the right story to tell, they can honor the franchise and the studio and the network feel the same way. I d be very open to working with Howard and everyone else but nothing new to report.”

And what about Scream Queens? Since its cancellation, fans have been vocal about bringing the show back. However, Collier says there are no plans to revive the series at the moment.

Though, from a look at Ryan Murphy’s social media, it seems the executive producer wants Scream Queens back:

What do you think? Have you seen Scream Queens? Do you enjoy the 24 franchise? Should FOX bring them back?
