Scream Queens is currently airing season one on FOX, but there is new teasers about season two from Ryan Murphy. According to Design & Trend, Murphy spoke about the series starring Lea Michele and Emma Roberts at an event over the weekend.

There was worries since the season began that low ratings would doom Scream Queens to being cancelled by FOX, but Murphy revealed that the network is actually excited about his season two plans, and some big names have asked to be a part of the action next season, including Lady Gaga.

“I just pitched to Fox the second season. Everybody loves the idea of it, and the conceit is three or four of the cast members [from season 1] survive. [And in the] second season, the survivors go off to a new venue — a horror based venue — and then they have to fight a new killer, a new villain, a new threat. I’ve already started to meet those cast members.”

Murphy teased that he has received a lot of emails from people that want to appear on the second season. He teased that a big male pop star is interested, but he wouldn’t say who because he “would kill him.” Lady Gaga has also asked to join season two because she loves the show. She is currently appearing on American Horror Story: Hotel.

Production on season one of Scream Queens will wrap soon. Murphy has sent the finale scripts to the cast, but he held back the last act. He teased that the identity of the red devil would be revealed. Fans should expect flashbacks and a lot of twists and turns during the season one finale.
