Season two of Scream Queens recently finished its run, but what about a third season? Star Lea Michele spoke to TVInsider about the future of the FOX TV series.
The horror dramedy also stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Glen Powell, Niecy Nash, John Stamos, and Taylor Lautner.
In the interview, Michele said she hopes there will be a third season so she can continue working with Emma Roberts:
Definitely amped up, but I really love getting to work with Emma, so I think that they should join forces. I just really love working with her. I think she’s the absolute best and she’s one of my best friends, so as long as I get to work with her I’m happy.”
FOX has not yet announced whether Scream Queens will be renewed or not. The ratings for season two were significantly lower, with the season earning an average of .61 in the 18-49 demo and only 1.445 million viewers. For comparison, season one earned an average 18-49 demo rating of 1.09 and a total of 2.79 million viewers.
