TVLine reports that actor Sam Lloyd will very likely be reprising his role as attorney Ted Buckland for the season finale of Cougar Town. The characters of the Courteney Cox sitcom take a trip to Hawaii to help Travis through some sort of crisis and while there, they run into dim-witted Ted.
When we last saw Ted on Scrubs, he and his girlfriend, singer Stephanie Gooch (Kate Micucci), were traveling around the country together. Perhaps they’ve split-up, settled in Hawaii, or are just passing through? We’ll have to wait to find out the details.
Bill Lawrence, the executive producer of Cougar Town, has used Scrubs actors on the series before but this will mark the first time that he’s brought back an actual character from Sacred Heart. Cougar Town is expected to return to ABC on April 18th and the season finale will likely air on May 25th. The sitcom’s already been renewed for a third season.
