Scrubs is adding two more to the revival cast for season two. The additions were announced during a panel at D23 over the weekend.
The first addition is a return. According to Deadline, Scott Foley is reprising his role of Sean, who was first seen during season one of the ABC sitcom. Sean and Elliot dated for a time before she ended the relationship. Foley will have a recurring role during the season, and he will once again be dating Elliot.
Another Deadline report revealed that John Higgins is joining the series in a recurring role for season two. He “will play Grant, the new Chief Resident, who is envisioned as a thorn in J.D.’s side the way he himself once was for Dr. Cox.”
Donald Faison said the following about his addition:
“John Higgins joins the cast, it’s been a lot of fun to watch him work, actually him and Ava Bunn, who plays Tosh. They’ve been great additions, and also Mike James Scott.”
Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke. Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley, Vanessa Bayer, Rachel Bilson, Joel Kim Booster, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, Neil Flynn, Lisa Gilroy, David Gridley, Phill Lewis, Robert Maschio, X Mayo, Christa Miller, Layla Mohammadi, Amanda Morrow, Andy Ridings, and Michael James Scott star in the series, which follows the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital.
