In the irony of ironies, FOX has not given Second Chance a second chance. Buzzfeed News reports the network has cancelled the drama after one season.
The freshman series starred Robert Kazinsky as a resurrected cop. Philip Baker Hall, Tim DeKay, Dilshad Vadsaria, and Adhir Kalyan also starred.
After going through several title changes, Second Chance didn’t seem to catch on with viewers. Season one ratings averaged a .64 in the 18-49 demo and a total of 2.430 million viewers.
Kazinsky confirmed the cancellation on his Twitter:
Shame that @secondchancefox won't get a second season, even bigger shame that we heard about it online.
