CBS has ordered a TV show pilot for Sensory. Set at Harvard Medical School, Sensory is based on the story of a real life Mass. General Hospital neurologist.
Sensory comes from ER and Mercy Street vet David Zabel, Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, CBS TV Studios, and TriStar Television.
From Deadline:
Sensory is inspired by the the true story of Dr. Joel Salinas, a neurologist and researcher at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. The two-hander centers around a veteran neurologist and her protégé who, like Salinas, has mirror-touch synesthesia, a neurological trait that causes him to experience other people’s sensations.
Zabel executive produces with Ridley Scott and David Zucker of Scott Free Prod. and Roger Freet of Foundry Media.
What do you think? Do you like the sound of the Sensory TV show? If CBS orders Sensory to series, do you plan to give it a look?
