Veena Sud might be returning to Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service is close to ordering a new series from The Killing showrunner called Seven Seconds.
The crime drama explores the racial tension that develops after an African-American teenager is critically injured by a Caucasian cop in Jersey City.
Though Netflix has not yet closed the deal, the streaming service is reportedly ready to order 10 episodes of Seven Seconds. If picked up, Sud will executive produce the project alongside Lawrence Bender, Kevin Brown, Alex Reznik, and Gavin O’Connor.
