Shades of Blue will premiere on NBC early next year, but it is coming to the network a week earlier than expected. The series, which will star Jennifer Lopez as a cop that is forced to become an FBI informant, is now set to premiere on January 7.
The earlier release date was announced when by NBC when they released the first official trailer for the series on Sunday.
In a press release by NBC, Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment spoke about Lopez’s performance on the series.
“Jennifer’s role as Det. Santos is a tour de force. She carries herself with incredible grit and toughness, yet at the same time heartbreaking vulnerability. We are thrilled that NBC is the network to bring this iconic actress and star to series television.”
