The wait is almost over. Freeform’s (ABC Family) upcoming fantasy series Shadowhunters has just wrapped filming its first season.
The series will premiere on January 12th, 2016.
Based on Cassandra Clare’s book series The Mortal Instruments, Shadowhunters will star Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, a regular 18-year-old girl who then discovers she is a human-angel hybrid tasked with hunting demons.
In addition to the first season wrapping, a new preview of the series has been released. It features more details about the world of Shadowhunters and a sneak peek of some demons.
