Emmy Rossum is stepping behind the camera. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress will direct an episode of Shameless‘ upcoming seventh season.
On the Showtime drama, Rossum plays Fiona Gallagher, the daughter of an alcoholic father (William H. Macy) who is trying to survive and keep her family together. The cast also includes Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Kenney, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, and Steve Howey.
Rossum will direct the fourth episode of season seven, which is schedule to air on October 23rd.
Season seven of Shameless premieres on October 2nd.
