Shark Tank: Season Seven Ratings

Airing on Friday nights, Shark Tank has become a big success for ABC. Last season, the network aired a whopping 29 episodes once again and it was one of the few ABC shows that saw an increase in viewership. Will the numbers continue to rise or will they fall? Cancelled or renewed for season eight? Stay tuned!

On Shark Tank, entrepreneurs seek investments from a group of savvy (and sometimes cutthroat) millionaires. The regular “sharks” are Robert Herjavec, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Mark Cuban, and Lori Greiner.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. For comparisons: The sixth season of Shark Tank averaged a 1.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.46 million total viewers.
