Shark Tank: Season Six Ratings

For the longest time, it seemed like Shark Tank was always in danger of being cancelled. It’s now become a big success for ABC. Last season, the network aired 29 episodes (!) and it was one of the few ABC shows that saw the ratings go up year-to-year. Will the numbers continue to rise or will they fall? Cancelled or renewed for season seven? Stay tuned!

On Shark Tank, entrepreneurs seek investments from a group of saavy (and sometimes cuthroat) millionaires. The regular “sharks” are Robert Herjavec, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Mark Cuban, and Lori Greiner.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
