Sharp Objects has some new company. Deadline reports Sophia Lillis has joined the upcoming HBO TV series.
Based on the book by Gillian Flynn, the drama follows Camille Preaker (Amy Adams), a reporter who returns to her hometown to investigate the murder of two young girls. Big Little Lies‘ Jean Marc Vallée will direct the eight-part series, with Marti Noxon writing.
Lillis will play a young Camille on Sharp Objects. HBO has not yet set a premiere date for the series.
