It’s a mystery… or is it? When the Sherlock TV series first premiered on BBC One and PBS, some fans asked, “Why a contemporary setting?” With the Victorian era Sherlock: The Abominable Bride only a day away, after three successful, modern seasons, some may wonder, “Why a  Victorian Sherlock special?”

The fourth, regular season of Sherlock begins production in the spring, with a likely January, 2017 premiere date.
