Spike Lee fans, here’s something to be thankful for. His She’s Gotta Have It TV show will drop to Netflix on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 23, 2017. The new series is an updated reboot of Lee’s 1986 movie. Watch the new teaser, below.
She’s Gotta Have It stars DeWanda Wise as Nola Darling. The Netflix cast also includes Cleo Anthony, Anthony Ramos, Margot Bingham, Lyric Bent, Chyna Layne, Ilfenesh Hadera, Kim Director, and Sydney Morton.

She’s Gotta Have It centers on Nola, a Brooklyn artist in her late twenties. Still trying to define herself, Nola struggles to divide her time between her friends, her job, and her three lovers: model Greer Childs (Anthony); investment banker Jamie Overstreet (Bent); and sneakerhead Mars Blackmon (Ramos).
Creator Spike Lee, who played Blackmon in the original film, is directing the series and executive produces with his wife Tonya Lewis Lee.
