She’s Gotta Have It has added another to its cast this week. Sydney Morton will recur on the Netflix series, per a Deadline report. She is only the latest addition. DeWanda Wise was cast as the series lead earlier this month.
Deadline shared the following about the series and Morton’s role:
“The series centers on Darling (Wise), a Brooklyn-based sexually liberated, free-spirited painter/mixed media artist in her late 20s struggling to define herself and divide her time amongst her friends, her job and her three lovers. Morton will play Sheryl Overstreet, Jamie’s (Lyriq Bent) wife.”
