Shooter has some new company. Deadline reports Josh Stewart has joined season two of the USA Network TV show.
The action drama follows Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe), a retired marksman who is coaxed back into action when a sniper threatens to assassinate the president. The cast also includes Shantel VanSanten, Omar Epps, Eddie McClintock, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Tembi Locke, David Marciano, and Sean Cameron Michael.
In season two of Shooter, Stewart will play “Solotov, an assassin with a connection to Bob Lee Swagger (Phillippe) and his team from Afghanistan.” The new season premieres on USA Network on July 18th.
