Another star has been added to Shots Fired. Deadline reports Jill Hennessy has been cast in the new FOX drama series.
Hennessy is probably most known as the lead of NBC’s cancelled drama Crossing Jordan. Most recently, she appeared in CBS’ Madame Secretary.
From Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood, Shots Fired “examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small town in North Carolina.”
Hennessy has been cast as “Alicia Carr, the affluent mother of the teen involved in a police shooting.” She joins previously reported cast members Richard Dreyfuss and Helen Hunt.
