Significant Mother: Season One Ratings

Significant Mother TV show on CW: ratings (cancel or renew?)A comedy, Significant Mother was initially developed as a digital series for The CW’s digital studio, CW Seed, before it was ordered for the broadcast network. Was that a good move? Will it be a hit in the ratings or a flop? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.

On Significant Mother, the world of budding Portland restaurateur Nate Marlowe (Josh Zuckerman) is turned upside down when he comes back from a business trip. He finds that his lothario best friend and roommate, Jimmy Barnes (Nathaniel Buzolic), is now dating his recently separated mother, Lydia (Krista Allen).

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically the following morning, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

10/6 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
