Silicon Valley has a new leader. Deadline reports Clay Tarver has been promoted to co-showrunner for a possible fifth season of the HBO TV series.
The comedy follows the lives of a group of developers who live together and chase success in Northern California. The cast includes Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Josh Brener, Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani, Amanda Crew, Zach Woods, and Matt Ross.
Tarver began as a consulting producer on season one of Silicon Valley and since season two he has served as a co-executive producer. HBO has not yet announced a season five renewal for Silicon Valley, but if it is renewed Tarver will serve as co-showrunner for the series.
Season four of Silicon Valley premieres on April 23rd.
