Sirens: Comedy Cancelled by USA, No Season Three

Sirens TV show on USA Network: canceled, no season 3There won’t be a third season for the Sirens comedy series on USA Network. The cable channel has cancelled the series after two seasons on the air.

Sirens follows the lives of EMT’s who work for the Eminent Ambulance Company in Chicago. They’re great at saving people’s lives but terrible at running their own. The cast includes Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Kevin Bigley, Jessica McNamee, Bill Nunn, and Josh Segarra.

The show debuted in March of 2014 and the first season ended up averaging a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.13 million viewers. The second season dropped 23-34% in the ratings, averaging a 0.34 rating with 740,000 viewers.

According to Deadline, the low ratings played a big role in the decision to cancel the series, as did the fact that Sirens is not owned by USA.

The last episode of Sirens aired last week — on Tuesday, April 14th.

What do you think? Do you like the Sirens TV show? Do you think that it should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season? Would you watch it elsewhere?
