‘Tis the season. Elizabeth Banks and husband Max Handelman are developing the Something to Celebrate TV show pilot for CBS. They will executive produce the family comedy project.

Variety reports Something to Celebrate is the couple’s first major network sale through Brownstone Productions.

Vera Santamaria is writing and will also executive produce. Her TV credits include BoJack Horseman, Schitt’s Creek, and Community.

Something to Celebrate follows a second generation American family fond of celebration. According to the report, it focuses on four adult siblings, who work in the family bakery.

According to Deadline, Something to Celebrate is based on the 2015 Spanish series, Algo Que Celebrar.
