Squid Game: The Challenge is coming to Netflix next month. The streaming service released a trailer teasing the new competition series which was inspired by the famous Korean thriller series that debuted in 2021. During the game show’s ten-episode season, viewers will see 456 contestants try to win 4.56 million dollars.
Netflix revealed the following about the series:
456 real players will enter the competition show in pursuit of a life-changing reward of USD $4.56 million. As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.
The series arrives on November 22nd, with new episodes weekly through December 6th.
Season two of the scripted Squid Game series is expected to launch before the end of this year.
