Stalker: CBS TV Show Cancelled; No Season Two

Stalker TV show on CBS canceled, no season 2It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.

A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.

The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.

CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.

After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.
