Star has some new company. Deadline reports Chad Buchanan has joined the upcoming FOX TV series.
From Lee Daniels, the drama follows three young singers through the ups and downs of the music industry. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, and Amiyah Scott.
On Star, Buchanan will play “Hunter Morgan, a young NFL star. He’s pure charm at first glance. But there’s a dark rage underneath he can’t control.” Hunter is being described as the love interest for lead character Star (Jude Demorest).
Star is slated to debut on December 14th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
