Don’t say we didn’t warn you. CBS boss Les Moonves has announced the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery TV show will not premiere on CBS All Access in May, as previously announced. Instead, the newest installment in the Star Trek TV series franchise will makes its debut in late-summer or early fall. This is the second announced delay.
The new Star Trek: Discovery series stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Michelle Yeoh, James Frain, Chris Obi, Shazad Latif, Mary Chieffo, Terry Serpico, Maulik Pancholy, and Sam Vartholomeos. According to Deadline, Moonves announced the new CBS All Access premiere target, during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference.
Star Trek Discovery: CBS All Access Premiere Delayed Again
Initially, the show was supposed to kick off in January of 2017. We hope Star Trek: Discovery will live long and prosper eventually, on CBS All Access. The network has not yet revealed a specific premiere date. When we know, you will, too.
