“We boldly go where we have never gone before.” CBS All Access has released a new promo for the upcoming TV series Star Trek: Discovery, TrekMovie reports.
The newest installment in the Star Trek franchise will take place years before the original series and follow “the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.” The cast includes Jason Isaacs, Mary Wiseman, Sonequa Martin-Green, Rainn Wilson, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Michelle Yeoh, and James Frain.
Star Trek: Discovery premieres on CBS on September 24th at 8:30 ET/PT. Subsequent episodes will be available to stream exclusively on CBS All Access.
