Star Trek: Nicholas Meyer Rumored to Be Working on Khan Limited TV Series

Star Trek TV show on CBS: (canceled or renewed?)

Is Khan getting his own TV show? According to Geek ExchangeStar Trek writer Nicholas Meyer is possibly developing a new series based on the iconic villain.

Meyer directed and co-wrote Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, the 1982 film that saw James T. Kirk (William Shatner) face off against Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban), a genetically engineered superhuman who first appeared in Star Trek: The Original Series.

Though Meyer is currently working as a writer for CBS All Access’ upcoming series Star Trek: Discovery, he is rumored to be leaving the show for a new limited series involving Khan. Meyer has not confirmed the news, but we’ll post updates as they become available.
