Could Star Wars be headed to the small screen? TVWise reports ABC is still considering a series based on the George Lucas franchise.
Lucasfilm, the studio behind Star Wars, is owned by ABC’s parent company, Disney.
At the TCA summer press tour, ABC chief Channing Dungey revealed there have been talks about a possible Star Wars series:
As a fan, I would absolutely love to say yes. We have had conversations with [Lucasfilm[ and we will contintue to have conversations with them. It would be wonderful to extend that brand to our programming.”
