ABC is ready for more Shonda Rhimes. Variety reports that the network has ordered a new pilot called Still Star-Crossed from Rhimes’ production company Shondaland.
Currently, Shondaland has two shows on ABC, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder, with a third (The Catch) set to premiere in March.
Still Star-Crossed is based on Melinda Taub’s 2013 novel, which follows the characters of Romeo and Juliet after the ill-fated lovers’ demise. Heather Mitchell is set to write the pilot and produce alongside Betsy Beers and Michael Goldstein.
