No Longer Still-Star Crossed: ABC Series now Listed as “Untitled Shondaland Project”
What’s in a name? While ABC has not cancelled upcoming Still Star-Crossed TV show, its title seems to have gone the way of Juliet and her Romeo. Still Star-Crossed is no longer up on the Disney-ABC press site. Wade Briggs, Lashana Lynch, and Sterling Sulieman star in the Romeo and Juliet sequel series.
Instead of Still Star-Crossed, “Untitled Shondaland Project,” now appears as a place-holder. Consequently, Disney-ABC has removed its Still Star-Crossed press releases. The only photo on the “Untitled Shondaland Project” photos page is the picture above. As a result of this name change, the show’s description now reads:
“Untitled Shondaland Project,” a period drama from Shondaland, picks up where the famous story of Romeo and Juliet ends, charting the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate. The series is based on the book by Melinda Taub.
