Stranger Things: Co-Creators Discuss Season Two Possibilities

Stranger Things TV show on Netflix: season 1 premiere (canceled or renewed?).

What’s next for Stranger Things? Recently, co-creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer discussed season two possibilities for the Netflix series, Deadline reports.

The supernatural drama was just released earlier this month. The cast includes Winona Ryder, Matthew Modine, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin.

While Netflix has not officially announced a season two renewal yet, co-creator Matt Duffer says they definitely have plans:

There’s a bigger mythology behind what happened, there’s definitely some dangling threads at the end, it’s open-ended so that if people want it, if Netflix wanted it, we could explore that and continue the storyline.”

Earlier, the Duffers told IGN that if the show is renewed, season two will be more of a sequel than a direct follow-up:

Now, we don’t answer all the questions by the end of the season – there are definitely some dangling threads. The hope is that it feels satisfying but that we left room and that if people respond to it we can go back into this world. But if we do get to go back, it’s not a second season as much as a sequel.”

What do you think? Have you seen Stranger Things? Would you like a second season?
