Stranger Things: Season Two; Duffer Bros Tease What’s to Come

Stranger Things TV show on Netflix: season 2 (canceled or renewed?)

What’s in store for Stranger Things? Recently, creators Matt and Ross Duffer spoke with Variety about season two of the Netflix TV show.

The new season of the supernatural drama will feature returning cast members Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin in addition to new stars Brett Gelman, Sean Astin, Linnea Berthelsen, Dacre Montgomery, and Sadie Sink.

On Variety’s podcast Remote Controlled, Matt Duffer revealed that season two of Stranger Things was planned before the series premiered:

A lot of the story for Season 2 was figured before the show had come out, so we had the big beats figured out already. It was almost scarier last year.”

So what’s going to happen in season two? Apparently, more monsters, longer hair for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), and sad news for Barb fans:

Hiding the monsters can be more effective than seeing it, so restraint can be a good thing. … There’s no resurrecting Barb. It was really surprising how much she took off. I related to her, so I think other people did as well.”

Season two of Stranger Things premieres on Netflix on October 31st.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Stranger Things? What do you want to happen in season two?
