Sunday TV Show Ratings: 666 Park Avenue, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Good Wife, Amazing Race

Sunday, October 21, 2012 ratings — Original episodes: America’s Funniest Home Videos, 60 Minutes, Once Upon a Time, Revenge, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife, and 666 Park Avenue. Sports and specials: Major League Baseball, NFL over-run, and Sunday Night Football.

On CBS, football over-run pushed the regular schedule almost an hour later but it paid off for the network. The over-run was the night’s winner win both the 18-49 demographic and total viewership with a 7.6 rating and 23.8 million viewers.

At 8pm, 60 Minutes benefited from the big lead-in and drew a 3.5 rating (+75% change week-to-week) with 14.82 million. The Amazing Race actually dropped 12% in the demo to a 2.3 rating with 9.4 million. The Good Wife then went up, to attract a 1.9 rating (+12%) and 10.0 million viewers.

On ABC, the only network to have a regular schedule, America’s Funniest Home Videos started the evening with a 1.3 rating (-7%) and 5.9 million viewers. Once Upon a Time followed with a 3.3 rating (+10%) and 9.7 million.

At 9pm, Revenge drew a 2.8 rating (+8%) with 8.7 million. Finally, 666 Park Avenue finished the night with a 1.8 rating (+29%) and 4.9 million viewers. Though this was a nice bump up, the numbers are still quite low.

On NBC, from 7pm until 8:30pm, Football Night in America drew an average of a 2.8 rating with 8.1 million viewers. Sunday Night Football then drew a 6.0 rating with 15.6 million.

On FOX, the baseball pre-game show attracted a 1.3 rating with 4.7 million viewers. The sixth MLB game then drew an approximated 1.6 in the demo and 5.6 million.

These fast affiliate numbers are approximate and the TV show numbers will be updated on the individual show pages when the finals become available.
