CBS is getting in the donut business. According to Deadline, the network has ordered a pilot for new comedy Superior Donuts.
Based on the 2008 play by Tracy Letts, Superior Donuts centers on the relationship between Arthur Przybyszewski, the owner of a rundown Chicago donut shop, and his younger, ambitious assistant Franco.
Odd Couple showrunner Bob Daily is set to write and produce the multi-cam pilot alongside former Community producers Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan.
