Supernanny is back in action! Deadline reports Lifetime is reviving the cancelled TV show with original host Jo Frost.
The original series began in the UK and followed parenting expert Jo Frost as she helped struggling families. An American version of the show ran on ABC/Style Network from 2005 to 2011. A spin-off, titled America’s Supernanny, ran on Lifetime from 2011-2013.
Now, it looks like Supernanny will be back to save the day. Lifetime has ordered 20 episodes for the revival series and Jo Frost will return. The revival is slated to debut in 2020.
From Deadline:
Frost will infuse her 30 years of expertise to the issues facing modern-day families. With new social and behavioral challenges parents face today, Frost will bring hope and uplift families with her advice, techniques, and tips to iron out the chaos in their homes.”
