TV show description:
This reality TV series combines the elements of a spy thriller with good old-fashioned hide-and-seek. The cat and mouse format pits investigative professionals against everyday people in various American cities — all trying to win a $100,000 prize.
The pair of contestants are given a car, a cell phone, and one hour to hide the case with $100,000 cash inside. At the end of the 60 minutes, the contestants are taken into custody and questioned by interrogators Mary Hanlon Stone and Paul Bishop in an attempt to locate the case.
The investigators work with a pair of local detectives who are given the GPS recordings of the route that the contestants took in the car, as well as their phone records from that time. Using their deductive skills, they do their best to uncover the hiding place. If the detectives can locate the cash within 48 hours, they are awarded the $100,000. If not, the contestants win the loot.
