Is Tales of the City making a comeback? Deadline reports Netflix is developing a revival of the PBS mini-series with original stars Laura Linney and Olympia Dukakis.
Based on the novels by Armistead Maupin, the drama follows the inhabitants of a vibrant neighborhood in 1970s San Francisco. The original mini-series spawned two sequels, which aired on Showtime in 1998 and 2001.
Though Netflix has not confirmed the news, Deadline reports both Linney and Dukakis will return for the Tales of the City revival, which will be set 25 years after the events of the original mini-series.
