Julie Bowen is taking over. Deadline reports the Modern Family star will lend her voice to Disney Channel’s upcoming TV show Tangled: The Series.
A sequel to the 2010 film, the animated show “picks up with Rapunzel acquainting herself with her parents, her kingdom and the people of Corona.” Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as the voices of Rapunzel and Eugene for the series. The voice cast also includes Clancey Brown, Eden Espinosa, Jeff Ross, Richard Kind, Jeffrey Tambor, and Paul F. Tompkins.
Bowen is replacing Ashley Judd as the voice of Queen Arianna, Rapunzel’s mother. Before the series’ premiere, Disney Channel is premiering an original movie, Tangled Before Ever After, in March.
