Are you game? ABC is. The network is reviving two classic TV game shows, To Tell the Truth and $100,000 Pyramid. To Tell the Truth premieres Tuesday, June 14, with a sneak peek at 8:00pm, before settling into its regular 10:00pm time slot, later that evening. Black-ish star Anthony Anderson hosts the show. Celebrity panelists include Jalen Rose, Betty White, and NeNe Leakes.
Michael Strahan, who is leaving Live! With Kelly and Michael for a full-time slot on the network’s Good Morning America TV show, was announced as the $100,000 Pyramid host, back in January. The all-new $100,000 Pyramid is executive-produced by Michael Strahan, Constance Schwartz, and Vin Rubino. It will debut on June 26.

Originally hosted by Budy Collyer, To Tell the Truth was created by by Bob Stewart in 1956. Early celebrity panelists include: Tom Poston, Peggy Cass, Orson Bean, Kitty Carlisle, Johnny Carson, Polly Bergen, Jayne Meadows, and Dick Van Dyke.
Its last run from 2000 to 2001 was hosted by John O’Hurley. Panelists in that iteration include: Meshach Taylor, Paula Poundstone, Kim Coles, and Jackée Harry. Kitty Carlisle even appeared in one episode. She is the only celebrity to appear in every version of the show produced before her 2007 death.

“TO TELL THE TRUTH” – PREMIERES TUESDAY, JUNE 14
Hosted by Anthony Anderson, “To Tell the Truth” is an anarchic and funny re-imagination of the beloved, game show of the same name. The all-new version takes the excitement to another level, featuring fun characters from pop culture over the six-episode series.
Anderson presides over four famous faces, including legend Betty White (who has appeared on previous versions of the show), actress NeNe Leakes, NBA star Jalen Rose and a special guest for each episode. In each round they are presented with three people who all claim to be the same person with the same incredible talent, job or achievement. One is sworn to tell the truth while the others are not. The panel of celebrities has a chance to grill each participant before taking turns deciding who they think is telling the truth.
“To Tell the Truth” is produced by FremantleMedia North America. Barry Poznick, Toby Gorman, Jeff Gaspin, George Moll and Anthony Anderson are executive producers.

$100,000 Pyramid debuted as $10,000 Pyramid, in 1973. There have been several versions of the show (with different dollar amounts in the title), most have been hosted by the late Dick Clark, at some point. The franchise is frequently referred to as Pyramid, and that has been the title of the last two versions of the show, hosted by Donny Osmond and Mike Richards.
