Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Shirtless Thomas Dekker Thanks Fans and Calls FOX

Each Spring, we TV fans tend to get a little bit crazy. Lots of our favorite shows are in danger of being cancelled and we’re all on edge, waiting to see which ones will be back next season. Well, it turns out that the stars are kept in dark just as much as we are!

FOX’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles series continues the ongoing saga that began with the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic back in 1984. The small-screen chapter features the talents of performers like Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau, Richard T. Jones, and Brian Austin Green, Garret Dillahunt, Shirley Manson, Leven Rambin, Dean Winters, Stephanie Jacobsen, Mackenzie Brooke Smith, and Sonya Walger.

The sci-fi series completed its second season a few weeks ago and was hardly a ratings winner. Though the highly-anticipated Terminator Salvation movie is coming out on May 21st, not enough people wanted to watch a weekly series. Sarah Connor is, at best, a long-shot to return. That’s a real shame, especially considering the way the last episode ended.

Still, many are hoping that the show will beat the odds and come back. Young star Dekker is one of them. He’s currently filming the new Nightmare on Elm Street movie in Chicago and is out of the network loop just as much as anyone.

FOX is set to announce their plans for the new season on Tuesday so the actor took some time to film a short video to thank fans for their support and to show that he’s not above calling the network himself.

Does it make you feel better to know that the fans aren’t the only ones left in the dark?

If you’d like to add your voice to Dekker’s, you can call (310) 369-3066 or email askfox@fox.com.
